Lynette sent the door sailing home into its frame and looked up at Chris, her fingers walking slowly up his chest. "Why don't we take this off?" she purred, indicating his duster. "Get you all warmed up and comfortable?"
"Sounds like a plan to me," Chris grinned, already slipping out of the duster. He hung it by the door along with his hat, noting that Vin was already getting quite warmed up by Miss Kelly.
When Chris turned back to Lynette, he gently slipped his arm around her and let his gaze wander over her generous curves. Although she was considerably shorter than he, she fit nicely against his side. She felt good there. "Looks like everyone is getting pretty well matched," Lynette smiled up at him. "And I bet you boys have a mean thirst."
"You could say that," Chris admitted, the sparkle in his eyes dancing merrily. "We're a mite hungry too."
"Well, I can take care of that," Lynette returned with a sly glint.
"I was hoping you'd say that."
Taking his hand, Lynette led Chris into the dining room and to the bountiful feast that was spread upon the table. Grinning up at the amused disappointment in his eyes, Lynette murmured, "Oh don't worry, I'll take care of that big ol' appetite in a little while. But first, you better eat. Build up your strength," she winked.
Deciding that he wasn't all that hungry for food after all, Chris pulled Lynette to him and kissed her, tenderly at first. At the taste of her though, his other hunger kicked in with the passion of a starving man, making him forget for a minute his original intentions. Lynette sighed and leaned into him, parting her lips at his urgent demand for entry. His arms about her tightened, almost hauling her off her feet, which was just as well, for her knees had grown quite weak and she clung to him, allowing his passion and powerful arms to sustain her.
When Chris lifted his mouth from Lynette's, he smiled at the passion-dazed look in her eyes and the slight flush on her face. "Perhaps we should continue this upstairs," he murmured, his voice husky with desire. He wanted to get her alone so they could talk and if he had to do it under the pretense of seeking sex, then he'd do it.
"Indeed," Lynette agreed in kind. "If I can remember the way to my room."
That inspired a soft laugh. "Don't worry. I'll help you find it," Chris assured her, although he was reluctant to release her from the circle of his arms to effect the little trip there. As reluctant as he to let go, Lynette finally stepped back from him and took his hand in hers, leading him upstairs to her room.
